Ok so I promise this is my last "updates coming soon" post. School is all done. My head is quite level once again. And I've dumped as much of my imagination as I possible could onto canvas, paper, panel, plywood, cardboard, foam board, poster board and anything and everything in between. Yet it's still not quiet. What this actually means is that within the week, I'll be putting up 1000 things on here.
Why not now, you ask?
Well.
First, I want a new account. I've kind of outgrown this one, and it hasn't been touched in ages. I still check it and stuff, but I don't network on it or update it. Fail, right?
And do you know what else? My digital camera is busted. The thing is, it's actually not that broken at all, just a little orange thing that holds the battery in broke off and now it won't turn on... since... you know, there's nothing holding the battery in place. Plus it doesn't sync nicely with my computer and I'm a hardware retard. So I'm gonna use my parents' camera and in a few days I should have like, 20 new paintings and illustrations up. Plus a bit of writing if I decide to put it up.

Also I'm kind of excited for this summer. I'm going to make sure that it's my best summer ever, since it's that golden time between high school and university. So I have pretty much zero responsibilities or commitments to worry about right now. I'm gonna Eurotrip for a month, so that should be nice. A week in Belgrade with my friend's family, a week in Sarajevo with MINE (and they know how to party), a week in Herceg Novi with everyone and their mother (it's a beautiful little beach metropolis. Salt water is my blood) and then a week in Greece just for shits and giggles.

Then when I come back, it's time to find a brand-new job... Thanks Montana's we've had a good run (sarcasm) but I'm breaking up with you. I'm underpaid, kthx.

Oh and then it's off to that university thing.
Ryerson, actually. For Arts and Contemporary Studies. It'll be excellent and in five years I'll have my gallery. I'm actually quite excited because I'm sick of stooping to high school-level and maybe I'll finally get challenged (and therefore, motivated) enough to function like I want to. I'm hopeful, but not relying on it though (hasn't happened yet, right? Thanks TDSB.) I just found out today that I've been granted another bursary... which kind of redeems the fact that I've procrastinated HARD on scholarship applications. However, I've got a minimum of $1500-$2000 so far, but I'm hoping to get my first year totally covered by scholarships, and my parents have a college fund which will definitely fund my second, and part of my third years.

But before all that adult garbage sneaks up on me, I have to worry about this summer's event. I'm actually planning to put on a modest art show with a couple of my friends. So I'm scouting out nonprofit venues/galleries right now... And I have a wicked DJ lined up so it'll be a club-bangin' art-fest. I'm excited; it's going to be wonderful.
I'm seriously considering the Whippersnapper gallery right now, and then an afterparty at StrangeLove right downstairs. That way the dance party can continue; only alcohol-fueled as well. However I'm still keeping an open mind because I'd totally prefer a venue where alcohol can be served right then and there.

Ah well, that's it for now.
PS. If there's one thing I've learned about my writing, it's that I should edit it before unleashing it into the public.
PPS. If there's one thing I've learned about myself, it's the fact that I'm not going to.
